8 key proposals approved in Odisha Cabinet: Mukhyamantri Bus Seva with 50 percent fare for women, divyangs

Bhubaneswar, May 7: Odisha Cabinet chaired by Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi approved eight key proposals on Wednesday.

The approved welfare schemes involving five departments included rebate during conveyance for women, transgenders, students, divyangs and senior citizens, among other key decisions.

According to the resolution, 50 percent fare will be discounted for the aforesaid community in both AC and non-AC buses plying under the ‘Mukhyamantri Bus Seba’ scheme.

Buses under this scheme will be connecting prime locations including public offices, premier institutions and tourist places worth importance.
