Boudh, May 21: In a major crackdown on illegal narcotics transportation, Kantamal police in Boudh district seized a Max pick-up van carrying 600 kilograms of ganja. The seizure was made during a raid conducted at Dulabali Chhak under Lambasari Panchayat, following a tip-off received from a reliable source.

Acting swiftly, a police team intercepted the vehicle and recovered the contraband. However, no arrests have been made in connection with the seizure so far.

Confirming the development, Kantamal Police Station Officer-in-Charge Bhabananda Pradhan said a case has been registered and a detailed investigation is currently underway.
