53-year-old Odisha businessman trapped to adulterous relation, lands in trouble

Bhubaneswar, Feb 28: A city based 53-year-old businessman has landed in trouble for having an adulterous relation with a 30-year-old woman of his neighbourhood. According to police, the businessman is residing at an apartment under Laxmisagar police limits with his wife and two children. However, he was going through a disturbed family life having regular altercation and verbal fight with his wife. The woman is residing at a rented house in front of the businessman’s apartment. She had developed a friendship with the businessman and both were in contact with each other. One day the businessman left house after an ugly fight with his wife at late night. The woman called him to her house and consoled to keep calm. They spent the night together that ended with physical relation between the two. Later, the woman persuaded him to an adulterous relation and the businessman used to please her gifting expensive items. However, the woman had some other intentions. She had captured the businessman’s intimate moments with her and started blackmailing him sending some video clips. She demanded his apartment to which the businessman agreed to give Rs 10 lakh, but the woman asked for Rs 25 lakh. Later, she lodged a rape complaint at Laxmisagar police station as the businessman refused to give the demanded amount. However, during investigation police found that the woman had trapped the businessman for money persuading him to adulterous relation.
