Muniguda, Nov 30: Rayagada police along with excise officials and forest department officials destroyed around 52 acres of ganja cultivation in Muniguda area in the district.
They reportedly cut cannabis plants in 52 acres of land in Bandri village under Chandrapur police limits. Police along with excise officials conducted the drive and set ablaze the illegal cultivation.
Estimated value of the destroyed cannabis plantation would be worth around Rs five crore.
Worth mentioning, on November 28, Rayagada police along with excise officials and forest department officials destroyed around 25 acres of ganja cultivation in Khamapadar and Khamundi areas under Chandrapur police limits in the district.
