52 acres of ganja cultivation destroyed in Gajapati

Gajapati, Nov 28: Gajapati police along with excise officials destroyed around 52 acres of ganja cultivation in the district on Sunday. They reportedly cut cannabis plants in 52 acres of land in Bama village and nearby areas. Police along with excise officials conducted the drive and set ablaze the illegal cultivation. Estimated value of the destroyed cannabis plantation would be worth around Rs 10 crore. Notably, the joint team had destroyed ganja cultivation worth Rs 13 crore on Friday near Buduni village.
