5 killed in multiple attacks in Afghanistan’s Jalalabad city

Kabul, Sept 23: At least ive persons were killedin multiple attacks in Jalalabad city of Afghanistan on Wednesday, Two persons were killed and three others were injured after four explosions took place in different parts of the city. Those wounded have been admitted to the hospital in the provincial center. In the meantime, three people were killed in a gunmen attack in an area near a base of the border forces of the former government. No details have been obtained on the intended target of the attacks. The head of the information and culture department of Nangarhar province said all those killed and wounded were civilians and no Taliban forces were harmed in the attack, reported Tolo News. So far, no group has claimed responsibility for the explosions or attack by gunmen.
