Bhubaneswar: Utkal University will celebrate the culmination of its year-long ‘platinum jubilee’ celebrations from November 23 to 27. Several events have been planned to mark the occasion. Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik will inaugurate the five-day celebrations. There will be an ‘alumni meet’ on November 24.
As part of the celebrations, parents of the students were invited on November 25. Their feedback on the present education system in the university would be taken. Then, they would be taken on a tour of the campus, classes and hostels.
During the five day event, the university will also organise a student-teacher day and a retired employees’ day. The Platinum Jubilee celebration had begun on November 20, 2018.
Meanwhile, preparations are in final stage to make the mega event a success one.
