45 divyang students taken ill after consuming sweets in Subarnapur

Subarnapur, Jan 29: As many as 45 divyang students of a residential school in Kalapathar area were taken ill after consuming sweets on Tuesday evening. As per reports, the sweets were distributed by a person as a part of his birthday celebration. The students, however, started vomiting after consuming the sweets. Some of them even complained of diarrhea after consuming the sweets. The victims are currently undergoing treatment at District Headquarters Hospital. Doctors at the hospital said that the health condition of the students is stable. Senior District Administration officials including the Collector visited the hospital to take stock of the situation.
