Balasore, Feb 8: The Khaira police arrested four more persons in connection with a loot case last week in the district, police said on Monday.
According to the police, six miscreants looted a businessman near Gundibeda market while he was returning home after closing his shop late night last week.
While the accused were trying to flee away from the spot after executing the crime, some locals nabbed two of them near Sarugaon village and handed them over to Khaira police.
Later, a team led by Khaira police station IIC, Subrat Behera, and Nilagiri SDPO Ritesh Mohapatra launched a probe into the matter and nabbed the four others from Puri on Sunday by tapping their mobile phones.
The police have also seized one scooter, one motorcycle, one car, two knives, duplicate keys, and Rs 7,200 cash from their possession.
