Bhubaneswar, Oct 22: The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB), Bhubaneswar today seized ganja weighing 250 kilograms from an oil tanker at Rasulgarh. The NCB has arrested two persons in this connection. The accused have been identified as Sunil Ray and Angideo Bin, both natives of Bihar. Acting on a tip-off, NCB officials intercepted the oil tanker near Rasulagarh and found ganja stashed in polythene bags. Officials said that the market value of the seized ganja would be Rs 25 lakh. “Further investigation revealed the ganja of being procured from Koraput. The accused claimed that they were transporting the contraband to Bihar. Further investigation in the case is continuing,” said an official.
