2470 fresh cases push Odisha’s Covid tally to 262011

Bhubaneswar, Oct 15: The state health department on Thursday said 2470 persons tested positive for Covid-19 in the last 24 hours. The detection of fresh 2470 cases took the state’s Covid tally to 262011. On the other hand, 235763 patients have recovered from the disease so far in the state. As many as 17 Covid patients succumbed to the virus during this period. While 1462 positive persons were in quarantine, 1008 cases were local contacts. Khordha reported the highest 368 positive cases, followed by 186 in Cuttack and 170 in Angul. Check district wise list: 1. Angul: 170 2. Balasore: 106 3. Bargarh: 69 4. Bhadrak: 67 5. Balangir: 91 6.
