Cuttack, July 28: As many as 22 persons in Cuttack city have tested positive for coronavirus today, informed Cuttack Municipal Corporation (CMC).
“9 cases have been reported from institutional quarantine, 4 from home quarantine, 2 paid quarantine and 7 two cases of local contact have been reported in the city,” informed the CMC.
“Out of the 28 new COVID-19 positive cases reported today in Cuttack district, 22 cases belong to Cuttack city (CMC area). Another 112 recoveries have been reported recently! KUDOS to the efforts of all doctors & healthcare staff’” said the CMC.
With the detection of the new cases, the corona positive tally goes upto 906, including 457 active cases.
Besides, 439 persons have recovered from the disease, while the virus has claimed 10 lives in the silver city.
