Bhubaneswar, Nov 27: A two-year-old girl child from Nima village under Basta police limits in Balasore district has gone missing since Saturday morning.

The girl has been identified as Sasmita Pradhan, daughter of Umakant Pradhan.

According to sources, the 2-year-old girl was last seen playing in the neighborhood on Saturday morning. Seeing the girl missing, her parents had lodged a complaint in the Basta police station.

Subsequently, the police and the fire personnel reached the site and started a search operation.

However, no lead on the girl child has been found yet.
