+2 results likely in third week of May, says CHSE

Bhubaneswar, April 28: The Council of Higher Secondary Education (CHSE) has announced that the +2 examination results are likely to be declared in the third week of May. Results for all streams—Arts, Commerce, Science, and Vocational—will be published simultaneously.

The evaluation process, which was scheduled to conclude today, has been extended by two days due to the ongoing heat wave. This year, CHSE has introduced a software-based evaluation system to streamline the process.

In a significant move, the council is working towards eliminating the practice of re-totaling and rechecking of answer sheets. Additionally, an answer-lock system has been implemented for MCQ responses.

For the first time, students who secure low marks will be given an opportunity to appear for improvement examinations.

A total of 4,01,623 students appeared for the +2 examinations this year. The evaluation is being conducted at 151 centers across the state, with 16,494 evaluators engaged in the process, according to CHSE sources.
