Medical aspirants can now apply online for the revised exam.

Good news for doctors aiming for the next step in their medical careers. The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) has officially opened the NEET SS 2025 registration portal.

This is the crucial all-India entrance exam for doctors seeking admission into super specialty medical courses like Doctorate of Medicine (DM) and Master of Chirurgiae (MCh).

All eligible candidates, including thousands of Odisha medical aspirants, can now submit their applications online. The only official website to use for this process is natboard.edu.in.

Key Dates

Mark your calendars. The application window opened at 3 PM on November 5 and will close promptly at 11:55 PM on November 25, 2025. Candidates are advised not to wait until the last minute to avoid any technical glitches.

The computer-based test (CBT) is scheduled to be held on December 26 and 27, 2025, at various centres across the country. These NBEMS exam dates were finalized after being revised twice, following requests from aspirants for a clearer schedule.

Understanding the Revised Exam Pattern

NBEMS has introduced a revised exam pattern for 2025. The test will now be divided into three sections: A, B, and C. Each section will contain 50 multiple-choice questions (MCQs), and candidates will be given 50 minutes to complete each section.

It's also noted that separate question paper groups will be provided for Medical Oncology and Critical Care Medicine. Furthermore, postgraduates in Traumatology and Surgery are now eligible to take the exam.

Candidates are strongly advised to read the official information bulletin on the website thoroughly before filling out the form.
