New Delhi, August 7: A total of 190 technical issues have been reported by airlines in their aircraft from January 1 to July 21 this year, the central government informed Parliament on Thursday.
In a written response in the Lok Sabha, Minister of State for Civil Aviation Murlidhar Mohol stated that such technical snags are commonly encountered in aviation and are often due to malfunctioning or improper functioning of onboard components, systems, or accessories.
He further clarified that it is the airlines’ responsibility to resolve all reported snags before clearing an aircraft for flight operations.
