14-day quarantine mandatory for people coming to Odisha from Andhra Pradesh and Telangana

Bhubaneswar, May 4: The State government today made 14-day quarantine mandatory for people returning from Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. The decision to impose mandatory quarantine for people coming from both the states was taken after virulent variant of Covid-19 is in people in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. An order in this regard was today published by the office of the Special Relief Commissioner (SRC). Collectors of Ganjam, Gajapati, Rayagada, Koraput, Malkangiri, Nabarangpur have been directed to put Border Check Posts (BCP) on all inter-state roads (NH, state roads and local roads) along Andhra Pradesh and Telangana border with immediate effect. The district administrations have also been asked to ensure border tracking for all the major and minor entry points for incoming people from states of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana adjoining their districts.
