12 more registration counters will be opened in SCB Medical College and Hospital

Cuttack, 7/12: Relief to the patients in the SCB Medical College and Hospital. Twelve registration and 14 Niramay counters will be opened in this leading hospital of the state. These counters will be computerised and connected through the internet, said the hospital sources These decisions have been taken following the visit of a high level team to state’s biggest government hospital. The high level team, which visited the hospital on November 13 and 14, comprised of high officials of the state health and IT departments and the engineers of the Works department. This will help ease the rush for obtaining registration tickets for consultation with the doctors at the outpatient door and getting free medicines, as prescribed by the doctors. Thousands of patients from across the state use to visit this hospital which is a referral and super specialty hospitals. Every day, thousands of patients stand in the long queue to get the registration ticket and the medicine.
