101 staff of Emami paper mill test positive for Covid-19 in Odisha

Remuna, Apr 12: As many as 101 staff members of Emami paper mill have tested positive for Covid-19 in Balasore district, informed the district administration today. Some of the staff members were tested for the Covid-19 as they developed symptoms. Reports of 101 people came positive today. Following this, one unit of the paper mill was closed while micro-containment zones have been established by the administration to monitor the situation. Apart from this, a 50-bedded and another 15-bedded Covid care centre have been established inside the compound of the mill for isolation of Covid-19 patients. Out of 3 units, one unit has been closed and the containment zones have been properly sanitised. The heath of all the members who tested positive are stable and they are under proper observation, said the information officer of the mill.
