​​​​​​​Bhubaneswar, Oct 11: Ace music director, composer & lyricist Abhijit Majumdar, who has been under treatment in AIIMS Bhubaneswar since almost a month, is reportedly critical.

He was shifted to the ICU again from the General Medicine Ward on Saturday, sources said.

He is currently under intensive medical supervision by a panel of doctors who are dealing with respiratory distress of the singer.

According to AIIMS Bhubaneswar sources, Majumdar’s health condition deteriorated all of a sudden in the evening. As a result, he was put in the ICU for better intervention.

Worth mentioning, Majumdar with multiple comorbidities including hypertension, hypothyroidism, and chronic liver disease, was admitted to the AIIMS Bhubaneswar on September 4 in a comatose state and placed on ventilator support.

Majumdar was shifted from the Medical ICU to the General Medicine Ward on September 25, following partial recovery from pneumonia and blood stream infection.
