Bhubaneswar, May 24: The Odisha Government on Sunday transferred SPs of 10 districts as part of a major reshuffle in the IPS and OPS cadres.
The Home Department has issued the transfer and posting orders for 18 senior police officers, including Indian Police Service (IPS) and Odisha Police Service (OPS) cadres.
Smit Parmar, who was serving as SP, CID-Crime Branch, has been posted as SP of Nayagarh.
Nayagarh Superintendent of Police (SP) S Susree has been shifted as SP, Vigilance.
Baqrgarh SP Prahlad S Meena has been transferred as SP of Gajapati, while Ganjam SP Suvendu Kumar Patra has been posted as Khurda SP. Khurda SP Vivekanand Sharma has been transferred as the SP, CID-Crime Branch, Cuttack.
Kandhamal SP Harisha B C has been posted as Ganjam SP. Bhadrak Additional SP, Kashyap Parth Jagdish has been posted as Nabarangpur SP.
Rayagada SP Swathy S Kumar has been appointed SP of the special task force (STF) in Bhubaneswar. STF SP Rabindra Nath Satapathy has been shifted as SP of Bargarh.
Boudh SP Rahul Goel has been transferred as SP, Special Branch, while ADC to Governor Kuldeep Singh Meena has been posted as SP, Boudh.
SP, Special Branch, Raj Prasad has been posted as SP of Rayagada.
The restructuring introduces changes across critical wings of the State's law and order machinery, including, district police administration, specialised units, intelligence and operations.
