Youth arrested for selling liquor in stationery shop in Bhubaneswar

Bhubaneswar, May 12: Tamando police station has arrested one person for allegedly selling foreign liquor in his stationery shop. The accused has been identified as Silu Patnaik (24). As per reports, Patnaik has stored the liquor in his stationery shops and was selling those at exorbitant price. Police have also seized 30 bottles of foreign liquor from his stationery store. Police said that concerned police stations have been asked to intensify drive against sale of liquor during the lockdown. The state government has yet to permit sale of liquor in the state through authorised shops during the lockdown. Prior to this, Nayagarh police had arrested a book store owner for storing and selling foreign liquor from his book store.
