Bhubaneswar, April 25: A 43-yaer-old woman working as a teacher with a renowned school allegedly committed suicide in her rented accommodation at Sidheswar Vihar under Khandagiri police limits. The deceased identified as Sabnam Burma was an English teacher by profession. Police said that Burma, a native of Bihar has been staying in Odisha for past 10 years. Sources said that the woman was in a relationship with a youth who first informed the police about the incident. “The youth approached us after getting a message from the deceased that she will commit suicide. We rushed to the house and found her hanging from a ceiling fan. We are further investigating to ascertain the cause of suicide,” said a police official.
