Bhubaneswar, Aug 17: Asit Kumar Tripathy has resigned as Chairman of the Western Odisha Development Council (WODC) on Saturday.
His resignation was accepted by the government, said an order issued by the Planning & Convergence Department.
The order stated, “The resignation of Asit Kumar Tripathy, chairman of the Western Odisha Development Council (WODC) under the administrative control of the P&C Department is hereby accepted on August 17.
Tripathy, who was a former Chief Secretary of Odisha, was appointed as Chairman of the Western Odisha Development Council (WODC) in December 2020.
