West Bengal patient denied entry into Odisha as attendants fail to produce Covid negative report

Jaleswar, Apr 28: Amid the galloping cases of Covid-19 in the state, a heart patient from West Bengal who was going to AIIMS , Bhubaneswar was denied entry into Odisha as the attendants of the patient failed to produce Covid negative report. Sources said that the patient was being transferred from Birbhum, Kolkata to AIIMS in Bhubaneswar for heart treatment. The patient had the Covid negative report but the attendants of the patient did not have their negative report following which they were denied entry into the state. Notably, the state government made mandatory RT-PCR negative reports or two doses of vaccination certificate for every individual entering into the state keeping in view the rising Covid-19 cases in the state.
