Barbil, April 24: Weak vigil at Barbil railway station scares people in Keonjhar. Hundreds of passengers coming to the district from West Bengal by Jansatabdi Express every day is a matter of concern for the district. Sources said Jansatbdi Express has continued its daily service through Barbil. A large number of passengers from West Bengal and Jharkhand have easy access to Keonjhar through this train. At the same time, no arrangements have been made at the station to scan the passengers. As a result, hundreds of newcomers join the coalfields and industries around Joda, Barbil, Balani, and Koida sectors without any Covid check. On the other hand, the Nalda border that connects Jharkhand is not sealed so far, which intensifies the Covid scare in the district.
