Bhubaneswar, June 1: According to Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) Nikunja Bihari Dhal, the voters turn out in last phase of election,today was 62.46 percent by 5PM
By 5 PM, the voter turnout in Bhadrak Parliamentary constituency was 56.68%.
The highest voter turnout was recorded in Jagatsinghpur Parliamentary constituency 64.31% by the same time.
The voter turnout in Jajpur Parliamentary constituency by that time was 62.92%.
By 5 PM, the voter turnout in Kendrapara Parliamentary constituency was 59.89%.
Mayurbhanj Parliamentary constituency has witnessed a voter turnout of 63.97% by 5 PM.
In Balasore Parliamentary constituency, the voter turnout stood at 61.94%.
Voting in Odisha is currently underway for the six Lok Sabha constituencies and 42 assembly seats.
The voting has taken place in the following six parliamentary constituencies: Mayurbhanj, Balasore, Bhadrak, Jajpur, Kendrapara, Jagatsinghpur under which 42 assembly seats fall.
Some booths are still open for voting, so the final tally may increase.
Around one crore voters are eligible to cast their votes across 10,882 booths in this round of polls. The election process is being conducted with tight security, ensuring a smooth voting for all citizens.
