Bhubaneswar, March 19: Senior IAS Officer Vijay Amruta Kulange has been appointed as Managing Director of OMFED.
Odisha General Administration & Public Grievance Department issued a notification in this connection on Tuesday.
The notification read, 2013-batch IAS officer, Vijay Amruta Kulange has been appointed as the MD of OMFED.
The post of MD, OMFED,Bhubaneswar is declared equivalent in status and responsibility to the post of Joint Secretary provided in the IAS cadre of the state, the notification added.
Worth mentioning, Kulange who was serving as the Commissioner of Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC), was allowed to proceed on leave, almost a month ago.
