Uttarakhand glacier burst: News7 team reaches Reni village

Uttarakhand: Team of News7 today reached Reni village on the banks of Dhauliganga river in Uttrakhand. The village is the worst affected village in the glacier burst. More than 35 bodies have been recovered so far, of which 10 bodies have been identified while hundreds others are still missing in the incident. Reporter of News 7 Shabnam Adeni has been camping in the valley for last four days and on Thursday she reached to the people of the Rani village. The villagers told Adeni that several people are still missing despite uninterrupted rescue operation. Adeni had also been to several other areas of the Chamoli district which faced the wrath of the distaster. She also visited the NTPC power plant and a small hydro power project near Rishiganga which was completely washed away.
