Bhubaneswar, Oct 28: Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan distributed as many as 176 appointment letters to newly inducted recruits in Odisha’s Bhubaneswar on Saturday under the aegis of ‘Rozgar Mela’.
While handing over the offer letters to the recruits Pradhan said with the visionary PM, the average unemployment which was higher and capped at 6 percent during fiscal 2017-18 has staggered at 3 percent during 2022- 23. Similarly, women’s participation in National growth which was almost 23 percent during 2017-18, has now exceeded 37 percent mark, due to the ace leadership of the PM.
Emphasizing the integrated development of rural India, Pradhan said, now it has been the need of the time to boost rural and women’s participation in every sphere of development,at par with the urban development.
Meanwhile, Education & Skill Development Minister Pradhan advised the newly inducted recruits to be inquisitive for acquiring new wit and adopt new technology platforms to up-skill their performances for achieving national goals.
Worth mentioning, under the ‘Rozgar Mela’ Initiative, PM Narendra Modi distributed about 51,000 appointment letters to newly inducted recruits in Government Departments and Organisations today. Similarly Bishweswar Tudu, Union Minister of State for Tribal Affairs and Jal Shakti, Govt. of India distributed 114 appointment letters physically to the newly inducted recruits in presence of MP Bhartruhari Mahatab, at an event held at Cuttack and 81 appointment letters distributed to the newly inducted recruits at the event held at Visakhapatnam respectively.
The Rozgar Mela is a step towards fulfilment of the commitment of the Prime Minister to accord highest priority to employment generation. The Rozgar Mela is expected to act as a catalyst in further employment generation and provide meaningful opportunities to the youth for their empowerment and participation in national development. The new recruits join various posts in various ministries under Government of India.
The newly inducted appointees will also get an opportunity to train themselves through Karmayogi Prarambh, which is an online orientation course for all new appointees in various Government departments.
