Kyiv, Mar 21: Ukrainian officials rejected a Russian demand on Monday that their forces in Mariupol lay down their arms and raise white flags in exchange for safe passage out of the port city surrounded by Russian forces. Though Russia intensified its attempt to bombard Mariupol into surrender, its offensive in other parts of Ukraine has floundered, claimed media reports. The Ministry of Foreign affairs of Ukraine on Monday informed that 115 children died in Ukraine as a result of Russia‘s attack while more than 140 were wounded. Russian forces have already destroyed 3,500 infrastructure facilities in Ukraine. No country can feel safe because of Russia’s terror tactics, the Ministry added.
