Bhubaneswar, July 25: In a tragic incident, two siblings lost their lives after a venomous snake bit them in Saintala locality of Odisha’s Bolangir district today.
As per reports, the incident was reported from Jamapadar village under Saintala police limits in the district when the kids, identified as Bhabagrahi and Manika, went to bed after dinner and fell ill in the middle of the night.
Their parents spotted froth coming out of their mouth and rushed the duo to Saintala Hospital.
Later, they were shifted to Veer Surendra Sai Institute of Medical Sciences and Research in Burla after their health condition deteriorated. Unfortunately, the siblings succumbed to the snakebite while undergoing treatment.
A pal of gloom descended in the area following the tragic incident.
