Cuttack, June 29: Two more accused have been arrested on Tuesday in connection with the elephant poaching from Athgarh forest.

The accused have been identified as Jalandhar Nayak alis Jalia and Budhiman Rout alias Budhia.

According to the Athgarh DFO, Gopinath Jadav,the duo had connived with other miscreants in elephant poaching and putting the carcass under the ground after amputating its tusks.

The prime accused is yet to be apprehended. Raids are underway to intercept him soon, said Jadav.
