Angul, Jan 27: Two youths died after a truck hit their bike at Mushapapuli under the Angul police limit on Thursday. The deceased have been identified as two staffers of the electricity department. One of them is Santosh Sahu of Kurudol village whereas the other's identification is yet to be ascertained. Sources said the duo were moving on a bike to discharge their duties. Meanwhile, a speeding truck hit their bike on NH- 55 near the Mushapapuli village in the morning. As a result, they died on the spot. Being informed, Angul police rushed the spot, complied with the legal formalities, and sent the bodies to Angul district headquarters hospital for autopsy. A UD case has been registered. Attempts are on to trace out the concerned truck, said the police.
