TRS leader Maduri Bhimeswara Rao killed by Maoists

Malkangiri, Oct 11: Maoists killed Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) leader Maduri Bhineswar Rao late last night, police said. The incident took place at Alubaka village in Mulugu district bordering to Malkangiri district of Odisha. According to villagers, a group of six Maoists entered the TRS leader’s house and opened fire at him. He was rushed to the local hospital after the Maoists left the village. The attending doctor declared him brought dead. The red rebels put up hand written posters at the scene of the incident and threatened the villagers with dire consequences before leaving the village.
