Bhubaneswar, 27/12: The love and deception by the accused Odia actress was not new, she had long records of cheating people. The Odia actress was in news after a youth from Vishakhapatnam in Andhra Pradesh named as Padmaraju Sibkumar had accused the Odia address of cheating him. He had alleged that the Odia actress, who had contacted him through a matrimonial site, had agreed to marry him. But he refused to marry him later after taking Rs 2 lakh cash and a gift of gold chain and laptop, He had lodged the complaint to the police commissioner and deputy commissioner of police through the e-mail. Following this allegation, some other people have also started complaining against the actress. Vicky Sarkar of Uttarakhand has said that he had called the said actress after coming across an advertise that " artists are needed to play the role of hero and heroine in the film". He was called to Odisha for photo suit and Rs 10,000 was taken from him. Vicky was told that he would be called later after the selection of photo. Thereafter, the said actress did not respond. Pupun Moharana of Berhampur has also brought the similar allegation against the same actress. He was duped of Rs 15,000 on the false promise that he would given scope to act as hero in a film. Though he rushed several times to Bhubaneswar to meet her, he had to return disappointed without meting her. Then he stopped coming to meet her. The actress has now become a talk of town following frequent allegations of cheating. 2
