Bhubaneswar, Sep 4: Technical snag in the engine reportedly forced a New Delhi-bound IndiGo flight on Monday, to make an emergency landing at Biju Patnaik International Airport, here. However, there was no report of any damage or injury.
According to sources, with 180 passengers on board, the IndiGo flight 6E-2065 took off from Bhubaneswar to New Delhi on Monday morning. But in midair, after the pilot spotted a technical problem in the engine, the flight was returned to Bhubaneswar.
However, there was no damage or injury reported as the plane safely landed at Biju Patnaik International Airport, sources added.
