Berhampur, Dec 22: In a new turn, Tapaswini-Summit face-off has gone bitterer on Wednesday. The Legal battle between the duo has become more intense after both of them moved higher Courts, appealing against the lower Court’s order. Sources said, Tapaswini is staging day and night dharna before Sumit’s house demanding her rights as his married wife. At the same time, her husband, Dr. Sumit is maintaining distance from her, rejecting Tapaswini’s relation and even the marriage Registration Certificate of the Registrar. Berhampur SDJM’s Court order dated December 7 and 9 brought a new hope for Tapswini since the Court had ordered to temporarily live altogether in a rented house. However, Dr Sumit defied the Court’s order after a short conjugal stay in an accommodation arranged by Aska police. Responding to media from an undeclared place, Sumit said in an audio message that he can’t continue with Tapaswini in the same room. He also said that he was taking bed rest at a peaceful place, due to physical stress and agony caused by Tapaswini. On the other hand, Tapaswini complained that Dr Sumit fled away from the rented house, without her notice. She took it as contempt of Court while her advocate filed a fresh petition in this connection with the SDJM Court once again. In the meantime, Sumit appealed against the SDJM’s order and prayed the District Judge to nullify the ‘stay-together’ order. However, the decision of the Court is yet to come out. Anticipating something unfavourable, Tapaswini’s advocate has moved the next higher Court to retain Tapaswini’s bridal right.
