Bhubaneswar, April 28: Jatani MLA Suresh Routray again became headlines for media on Sunday as he administered oath of the people to vote for his son Manmath Routray who is contesting from the Bhubaneswar Lok Sabha Constituency.

The veteran politician holding bhogs of Lord Somanath in his hands, asked the people of Khordha area to pledge for voting in favour of his younger son Manmath Routray who is a BJD candidate from the Lok Sabha segment.

Amid the poll campaign in the Harirajpur village under the Jatani Assembly segment and Bhubaneswar Lok Sabha Constituency, the former Congress leader come onto the BJD stage and urged the locals to elect his son as the MP and BJD MLA candidate Bibhuti Balbantray with their abundance mandates. Meanwhile, he put the sacred bhogs & bael leaves of Lord Somanath, the presiding God of the Jatani area in order to earn people’s affirmation in this regard. 

Routray who is a popular leader in Odisha for his silly political debate through slow-mockery, is now playing a phenomenal part in his son’s election campaign. As the twin election in Odisha is getting closer, the elderly politician is leading the campaign trail for his younger son Manmath Routray in an innovative manner.
