Sundargarh:Post-mortem of four family members who were found dead rules out poisoning

Sundargarh, Jan 12: The post-mortem of the four members of a family who were found dead in their rented house at IT Colony under Rajgangpur police limits on Saturday did not reveal poisoning, police said today. Police said that the post-mortem report claimed that the deaths were caused probably due to asphyxiation. Police said that they are waiting for the viscera report to ascertain the cause of death. Bodies of Ranjit Prasad (28), his wife Chinu, three year old daughter Kanak and 18 months old baby boy were found from the closed house on Saturday. The neighbours of the family said that Prasad was working as a mechanic at Dalmia-OCL plant in Rajgangpur and they have last seen the family members on Thursday morning
