Sub-collector performs last rites of Covid-19 victim in Odisha

Bhanjanagar, May 13: Bhanjanagar Sub-collector turned a good samaritan in covid times by performing last rites of a Covid-19 patient late on Wednesday night. Sources said, the body of a Covid-19 patient Kalicharan Sahoo of Landeisahi was abandoned by his family members amid Covid-19 scare. Meanwhile, Bhanjanagar Sub-collector Rajendra Minz, PRO Fakir Mohan Majhi, Senior RI at Sub-collector's office Biswajit Sethi and For Mohan Swain, Junior RI Balaram Jani and fourth grade worker Surendra Sethi came forward to perform his last rites following covid guidelines.
