Bhubaneswar, Nov 16: For the upcoming assembly election, there is still confusion in Boudh BJD about Who will get the ticket and who will be elected. But so many names have come up to the fore as aspirants for BJD ticket and there has been a rush among them.

From this assembly constituency, Pradeep Kumar Amat has been elected five times and held important portfolios in the state cabinet. He was also the speaker of the Odisha assembly. So Amat has a good clout over party affairs at the state level as well as in the constituency. His supporters and sympathizers are saying that they will make him MLA again in the 2024 elections.

But there is a rumor in local areas that BJD High Commands are thinking of changing the candidate in Boudh this time. The second line-up of the party, the present Boudh NAC chairman and party coordinator of Boudh Constituency, Mrutunjaya Mishra, District BJD Working President, and Western Odisha Development Council member Subodha Pradhan and ex-chairman of Harabhanga block Biswajit Mishra’s names are rumored.

But it is also said that there is no leader in the party in Boudh to challenge Minister Pradeep Amat in 2024
