State Cabinet today, likely to approve 8 proposals

Bhubaneswar: A meeting of the State Cabinet is scheduled to be held at the Lok Seva Bhawan (State Secretariat) at 5.45 pm today, according to reports.

The Cabinet meeting to be held under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik is likely to discuss and approve as many as eight important proposals. Unconfirmed sources said the Cabinet will hold discussion on a proposal to appoint an economist as head of the State Planning Board in line with the NITI Aayog.

While two important proposals belonging to the Commerce and Transport Department are likely to be undertaken for discussion and approval, the other proposals were yet to be known.
