State announces home covid-19 vaccination services for elderly, disabled

Bhubaneswar, Oct 5: Differently-abled people, senior citizens and bed-ridden will be administered the Covid-19 vaccine shot at home if they are unable to go to vaccine centres, the Family Welfare Director Bijay Kumar Mohapatra. The government recently issued guidelines for arranging for vaccination centres nearest to disabled and elderly known as--Near-to-Home covid vaccination centre for elderly and differently abled citizens but now the vaccination services will be provided at the doorstep of the beneficiaries with the special needs. The district Collectors has directed to submit list of beneficiaries who're unable to visit vaccination centres.
