Puri, Feb 9: The Puri Srimandir Administration has received Rs 3,06, 62,813 from Arpan Raths moved across Odisha before the inauguration of the Parikrama project on January 17.
A donation of Rs 3,06,62,813 has been received by the temple administration collected from Arpan Raths so far. The donation money is yet to reach at the administration office from several places. The total donation will be estimated after receiving money from all 30 districts, informed the Shree Jagannath Temple Administration (SJTA) on Thursday.
The money received by the administration is being deposited in the saving account of the temple administration, SJTA said.
The Collectors are depositing the money in phased manner following which it is taking time for counting, informed the SJTA.
Similarly, around 6600 quintal of rice collected from the devotees has been received. The total quantity of the collected rice would be around 12,000 quintal, informed the supply officer.
Devotees had donated rice, betel nuts and currencies as offering to Arpan Rathas across Odisha before the inauguration of the Srimandir Parikrama project on January 17.
