Baripada, Oct 9: The simlipal National Park in Odisha’s Mayurbhanj district is scheduled to reopen for the visitors on October 14 after being closed for nearly five months during the monsoon season.
While the park reopens in November every year, this time the park will be opened early in October, informed authorities.
Tourists can enjoy the lush greenery, biodiversity, striking meadows and breathtaking waterfall inside the sanctuary. In addition, the visitors can access mount cycling, Jungle safari and hanging bridge. Visitors can access the park using two gates, one at Kaliani and the other at Pithabata. They will be allowed to enter the park between 6 am and 9 am and leave the premises from Barehipani and Jaranda by 3 pm and Chahala by 4 pm.
Each day, at least 25-35 vehicles will be allowed inside the National park. To maintain the cleanliness of the park, tourists will be restricted from carrying plastic bags and other items inside the park.
