Severe cold wave warning for these districts of Odisha

Bhubaneswar, Feb 1: Severe cold wave condition at one or two places very likely to prevail over the districts of Jharsuguda, Sundargarh, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Deogarh, Balangir and Kandhamal during the next 24 hours, the regional Met centre said. Cold wave condition very likely to prevail at one or two places over the districts of Balasore, Bhadrak, Jajpur, Kendrapara, Cuttack, Jagatsinghpur, Bargarh, Sambalpur, Angul, Dhenkanal, Sonepur, Boudh, Kalahandi, Nuapada, Nayagarh and Khordha, it added. Shallow to moderate fog very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Malkangiri, Koraput, Gajapati, Rayagada, Ganjam, Kandhamal and Kalahandi, the weatherman said adding dry weather most likely to prevail over the districts of Odisha. The weatherman advised to stay indoor during night and early morning and use multilayered clothes to avoid exposure to cold and to keep live stocks in indoors and shaded areas during night and early in the morning.
