Servitor Committee formed to aid Covid care in Puri Srimandir

Puri, April 21:  Shree Jagannath Temple Administration (SJTA) has formed a seven member servitor committee to aid Covid-19 management in the temple today.  Temple's Chief Administrator Dr Krishan Kumar constituted the Committee at the review meeting on Covid-19 today at Niladri Bhakta Nivas. The servitor committee will help the administration with ensuring vaccination among the servitors and their family. It will inform details of post-vaccination ailments of the servitors to the Administration.Moreover, the seven member committee will see the implementation of Covid-19 protocols in the temple. Collector of Puri along with the Additional District Magistrate, Sub- Collector, Srimandir Development and Niti Administator and  members of the Covid Committee discussed the surge of Covid-19 cases in Puri.      The meeting decided to start vaccination to servitors aged above 18 years from the first of May. Servitors engaged in the chariot making will be vaccinated. Regular tracking will be carried out to review their vaccination and post-vaccination status.
