New Delhi, Sept 23: The Supreme Court on Thursday expressed happiness with the Central government's decision to provide Rs 50,000 as ex-gratia to families of those who died of Covid-19, saying it will bring some solace to the persons who have suffered. A Bench of Justice MR Shah and Justice AS Bopanna observed that it has to take judicial notice of the fact that what India has done, no other country could do, news agency ANI reported. "Today we are very happy. There will be some solace to the persons who have suffered. We are happy that something is being done to wipe out the tears of the person who suffered. We have to take judicial notice of the fact that what India has done, no other country could do," the Bench observed during the hearing.
