Bhubaneswar: The Chandrasekharpur police here with help of the Boudh police arrested Mundipadar gram panchayat Sarpanch Antaryami Sahu on charges of betraying a girl of Damana area.

According to the girl, Antaryami stayed with her for seven long years promising to marry her. But he later betrayed her. Antaryami has now married to another girl.

Acting on her complaint, the Chandrasekharpur police went to the Mundipadar village and arrested Antaryami. Further investigations are on, said police.
